WINNERS ON THE BLEACHERS
College football fans are the most exuberant of fans. It is often just as exciting to shoot the crowd as it is the game itself. I was covering a late-fall battle of undefeated teams, the Wisconsin Badgers at the Purdue Boilermakers in West Lafayette, Indiana. The home team’s quarterback Kyle Orton was a Heisman Trophy candidate, and the students took it upon themselves to creatively lobby for their classmate. Even though the temperature was in the low 40s, as you can see, they were still giving it their all. —TH
