DAVID BYRNE, MUSICIAN, COMPOSER, AND ARTIST
For this portrait to happen, I had to be in the right place at the right time, which luckily for me I was. Shortly after photographing Mark Knopfler, I was in a bar in London with some friends and met one of my favorite musicians, David Byrne, who started a band at art school called Talking Heads. He was hanging out with some other musician friends of mine who were in a new band and about to release their first album.
