Community
CIRCLING THE TRUTH
Community indicates a group connection via a common bond—shared ideas and goals, same characteristics, common social, economic, or political interests. Community knows no size limits, it can encompass people on different continents, in a variety of states or different sides of the street. Symbols that indicate a continuous connection are often used to identify community—the circle, the hand, the spiderweb, the eternal knot. In its most basic sense community is a supporting structure as in the palm of the hand supporting the individual fingers.
