Rivers and streams carry water into lakes and ponds. They can move slowly or roar around curves and over rocks. Sometimes the current can be deceiving. What may appear to be a calm, placid flow of water can in fact be moving swiftly. But when the roar of rapids reverberates, there’s no doubt. . . that water is really traveling, and the power behind it is incredible.
