Golden Gate PanoPlanet

Multiple photographs form this complete 360° panorama of the Golden Gate Bridge called a polar “PanoPlanet” image. It is warped into a “planet,” using a mathematical transformation. This type of image looks similar to the stereographic PanoPlanet with a planet surface being formed (See page 166), except taller structures are compressed rather than magnified as they move farther away from the center.
