Tulip

Gary P. Kurns is a retired retail executive with a lifelong passion for photography. His work includes award-winning underwater, close-up, and landscape photography.

Built in 1886, the historic Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, has beautiful flower gardens in the spring. This tulip was shot using a Nikon D3 with an 105 macro lens. Then, using Photoshop CS4, a mask was applied followed by a radial blur filter on the background.
