SO YOU WANT TO WORK AT A MUSEUM?
Walking along the hushed gallery spaces of any museum, you might never suspect the hive of activity occurring just steps from the artwork. A museum runs well only because of the hard work of its staff, from the lowest-level museum guard to the wealthiest donor on the Board of Trustees. The museum’s director works closely with the curatorial staff to conceptualize and coordinate traveling and permanent collection exhibitions.
