Mechanical Mirrors

MIRROR MIRROR, ON THE WALL...

 

Mechanical mirrors? Yes, that’s right—mirrors that aren’t your average looking-glass but that reflect, in a manner of speaking, what is in front of them. One is made of wood, one is made of trash, one is made of 600 wooden dowels, and one is made of 768 small mirrors. Whatever the material, all these mirrors share a similar design. They are computer controlled and mechanical, and when you stand in front of them, you can see a reflection of yourself.

 

Wait, did I just say that you can see a reflection of yourself while looking at a bunch of wood? Or some trash? ...
