MONITORING YOUR RELATIONSHIPS WITH AND OBLIGATIONS TO ONLINE VISITORS

Privacy on the internet is largely self-regulated. Federal law generally does not require you to take any affirmative steps to protect the privacy of your online visitors. The exception is sites that take personal information from children under thirteen which requires compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.
