Key skills

So, what is a Key skills section exactly? It’s often misunderstood.

A Key skills section is a summary of the main skills and abilities you are offering a prospective employer – your top selling points in terms of skills and abilities.

It shouldn’t be confused with an Achievements section (which we’ll cover in the next chapter). An Achievements section will focus on your experience rather than your pure skills and abilities.
