Many business problems arise simply because people are currently not acting in the way you need them to. Choice architecture is a powerful way to change that behaviour, by engineering the environment or circumstances so that the people concerned want to do the thing you want them to do.

Instead of trying to persuade them or cajole them or advise them or block off alternatives … you just make the course of action you want the most attractive option. Et voilà, problem solved.
