The time has come to finish this book. We have now reached the final chapter, and I don’t want to end without one more reference to Antonio Damasio.
One of the things that surprised me most about Damasio’s research into the brain and mind was the connections he makes in his books (Descartes’ Error and Looking for Spinoza) between neuroscience and philosophy.
