account takeover attacks   Targeting the financial transactions of organizations, cyber-criminals (see APT) attempt to break into online banking transactions to steal funds by gaining access to online accounts and transferring funds to offshore accounts. These attacks have been successful against small- and medium-sized organizations with losses in the six- to seven-figure range.
