Multisource Concepts
In deciding whether to create a multisource universe, it’s helpful to keep in mind some fundamental rules and concepts:
• Multiple data sources are defined within the data foundation. You must specify that the universe will be multisource when you initially design the data foundation. You cannot convert a single source data foundation to a multisource data foundation.
• When connecting to a relational data source that you have specified as a multisource universe, only ANSI 92 SQL syntax is supported.
