The SQL Expression Editor

When changing SQL statements, you can enter the SELECT statements directly in the box in the SQL definition tab, or you can use the SQL Assistant to change either the SELECT statement or the WHERE clause. The SQL Assistant also provides some help on internal IDT functions and SQL syntax.

Figure 9-1 shows the SQL Expression Editor. You launch the SQL editor by clicking the SQL Assistant button from the SQL definition tab of the object properties.
