Data Foundation Properties
A number of parameters that were once set in a single dialog box in the former Designer are now set either in the data foundation properties or in the business layer query options. Note that in order for this properties pane to appear, your mouse must be positioned on the datafoundation.dfx item and not on an individual table.
The data foundation Properties tab includes the following settings:
• Description In the Description box, you can provide comments on how this data foundation will be used or revision notes. Business users will not see this text.
