How the Information Design Tool Works
The IDT is a Windows client application that is installed on the developer’s PC. When you first create a project, you are working locally on your computer. When you modify components of a universe, you import them to your PC and are working on a copy. When you are finished with your changes, you export your copy of the universe to a repository that end users can access.
