Text Components
Text components display text, and in some cases, accept input, such as a password. These components are very common in Dashboard Design models. They may be used to show information such as data labels, headers, the date of the last data refresh, and comments. These components can contain either static data, such as hard-coded values, or linked to a cell to display the data it contains. Some of these components can also display HTML code for additional formatting options or provide hyperlinks to other web sites.

Three types of text components are available: input text area, label, and input text.
