Sorts
Web Intelligence, by default, sorts data in a table by the leftmost column as the primary sort, the second column as the secondary sort, and so on. Sorting data within a table allows you to override this default and rearrange the rows based on any dimension or measure in the table.
A sort on a string dimension will be alphabetic, and a sort on a date dimension will be in date order. If your sort is on a measure column, the order will be numerical. For example, if you sort in descending order by a sales measure, your report will be sorted by stores with the highest sales down to stores with the lowest sales, and therefore you will be able to quickly identify which stores have the highest sales.
