Fooling Around with the Photos App

Now that you’ve stuffed a few photos into your Windows PC (assuming you’ve done the importing or scanning thing I went on about in Chapter 8), you probably want to take a gander at your newly digitized pics. Windows 8 gives you a fistful of ways to go about this, as you see in this chapter. If you want to start things off simply (always a laudable goal when it comes to computers), look no further than Photos, a Windows 8 app that resides on the Start screen. With Photos, you can view your images or even fire up a slide show.
