Before we show you how to build an ad, we’re going to give you some background on the types of ads you can run on Facebook, how they work, and the rules.

Facebook’s pricing structure for its ads is similar to other online advertising platforms (discussed later in this chapter). Facebook sets itself apart from other ad platforms in how users can interact with the ads.
