Getting Grounded: Product Footprinting

Product footprinting, also known as product lifecycle analysis, is a method of examining the total sustainability impact of a product. It is not so much a formal methodology as it is a collection of tools for defining, assessing, and improving CR&S impacts while maintaining or improving the quality, performance, and value of the product.
