Types of Strategic Plans
Not all strategic plans have the same focus. There are various types of strategic plans ranging from the organizational plan, which focuses on the entire business and establishes business direction, to departmental and special purpose plans, which have a much more narrow focus.
It’s important to note at the outset, however, the difference between a strategic plan and a business plan—two terms that are often confused.
