Attributes of Effective Objectives
There are some specific criteria that we can use to evaluate whether or not the objectives we create are appropriate. The acronym used to describe these criteria is SMART. While you’ll find some variation in the terms used in this acronym, it generally stands for Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-bound. Each of these elements must be present for an objective to be effective. Let’s take a look at each of these criteria and how they can be used to evaluate the effectiveness of your objectives.
