Why the Current System Is Unsustainable
Although the current U.S. system of health care and health insurance is difficult to change, it is economically unsustainable. The following forces are working against it, and the 2010 legislation often derisively called Obamacare won’t do away with them.

Health-care and health-insurance costs have greatly outpaced inflation in most of the past 20 years.
