Going Green

The environmental movement is at the forefront of the emerging new economy, and it needs a strong workforce to make it succeed. Green ventures are springing up in virtually all industries, so if you have a hankerin’ to earn a paycheck saving the planet, get a green collar job.
 
Kathryn Dobson had an administrative job at a magazine publishing company. She’d always wanted a well-paying job doing something positive for the environment but never saw an opportunity she was qualified for. A few years ago, she decided to redirect her career toward management in a green company.
