E-Mail or Hardcopy Letters?

In today’s job market, e-mail cover letters are sent more frequently than hardcopy letters. Time is of the essence when it comes to applying for a job. The competition is fierce and timing is critical. Within minutes of a company posting a new job opening, a flood of resumes is likely to land on a recruiter’s computer. Very often these resumes arrive via e-mail, and the ensuing communication between the recruiter and potential job candidates happens through e-mail.
