Writing History
Of all the sections of your resume, your Work History is the most likely to be verified by a potential employer. Be sure your entries in this section coincide exactly with the information your former employers will give.
As you read through this chapter, remember Resume Commandment II from Chapter 3: thou shalt not confess. In other words, you don’t have to tell everything. Stick to what’s relevant and marketable. Rely on this commandment when resolving issues in your Work History section.
