Driving Traffic to Your Blog
Once you get your resume (and maybe a few relevant posts) on your blog, how are you going to get people to visit it? Here are some ways:
◆ Add your blog address to the heading of your resume.
◆ When you send e-mails to recruiters and members of your network, include the web address of your blog resume.
◆ Write comments after posts on other blogs in your field. When you do this, include your name and blog address so interested readers can seek you out.
◆ Link to your blog from your social network profiles.
◆ If you write articles or are interviewed for the print media, include your blog’s web address.
◆ When doing any online activity that’s even remotely related to your occupation, include your blog address.
