Learning the Ropes
If you’re a first-time blogger, you don’t have to start with a grand production. Begin by posting your resume in its simplest form with no links, if you like.
Gradually, tweak your resume to include links, which may require you to create additional blog posts for those links to point to.
If you think of your blog resume as a work in progress, you’ll always be adding to and editing it. This has a double advantage:
◆ You keep your resume up-to-date.
◆ Search engines will reprioritize your resume page in their rankings because they “see” the latest date it was published (or republished) to your blog. Searches in the blogosphere often pull up pages by most recent dates, as well as keywords.
