Facebook (facebook.com) is one of the largest social networks and is used primarily as a casual online social medium. The chatter is often personal in nature and it offers a place where people let their hair down and talk about personal stuff.
Although Facebook doesn’t have a job search component or a profile that lends itself to being an online resume, you might consider joining this network anyway. It’s fun and even in casual exchanges you might well run into a valuable contact for your job hunt.
