Conclusion

Alignment is an overlooked sales force productivity tool. There are many obstacles that prevent companies from creating and maintaining good alignments. However, the benefits of good alignment are significant. Alignment deserves more attention and consideration from management than it often gets. Keep striving for good alignments, and watch out for the possible alignment blockades listed in Figure 5-12.
