Jim Reda thanks his wife, Deborah Reda, who has supported him in every way over the past 22 years; as well as Stewart Reifler, who agreed to revise the second, third, and fourth editions of this Handbook; Laura Thatcher, who helped revise the second and third editions; and now Mike Stevens, who has helped revise the fourth edition. He would also like to thank outstanding directors and compensation committee chairs such as Burl Osborne and William H.
