EVERYTHING I’VE written in this book leads to this concept: if you aren’t a quality individual, you can’t positively affect others. And if you are such a person—that is, trusted, comfortable in your own skin, easy to get along with, able to engage others, and doing a stellar job—it all amounts to nothing unless you can help others in those endeavors as well.

People assisting other people in achieving their day-in-day-out grind, not just their end goals, happens less than you would think—that’s why it’s a big differentiator for you if you do it. Putting it candidly, you need to cause people around you to be successful because if they fail, you fail—and you, of course, don’t want that.
