Blocking time

Now you are ready to block time for all of your planned activities. By “activities,” I mean appointments, meetings, lunch, exercise, phone calls, correspondence, planning time, writing reports, or preparing bids. Obviously, this is just a sample of the kinds of activities you can group together and plan to do at a specific time. Blocking time and grouping activities has many benefits. It helps you to focus, it minimizes interruptions, and it forces you to plan ahead. Can you think of other benefits?
