To-do list

I suggest you create and record your To Do List in one central book or digital device at the end of each day before you leave work, while your mind is still focused. Then carry the book or device with you at all times: at home, to lunch, in the car—I mean everywhere. Whenever an idea hits, write it down. Then review the to-do list first thing in the morning and prioritize it. One good way is: A = must do today; B = imperative but not urgent; C = important to do soon. The last thing is to number the items in each category and transfer or cut and paste the letter and number to your schedule. Thus, A-1 at 9 a.m.; A-2 at lunchtime; B-1 on the way home.
