With their Love, Serve, Care model, Sarah, Michael, and Social Connect were able to successfully serve their five new clients, hire more employees, receive more referrals, and continue to improve their software. They received a lot of attention for their software, but became even more known for their Heart of Success business model. Each year they won “the best place to work award” but they never took it for granted. Instead they stayed humble and hungry, and looked for ways to love deeper, serve greater, and care more. Michael told everyone that when you focus on one person, one moment at a time, and build your business with the principles based on The Way, you can’t help but grow. Michael wrote down everything the carpenter had told him, and created a success-builder manual that described the core principles and strategies of the company.

True to the carpenter’s words, their business continued to build. Five new clients turned into 20 new clients, which turned into 100 new clients. Social Connect grew so fast that they had to move into a bigger office building, and guess who did all the carpentry work for it? Michael finally admitted to himself that the carpenter was the best marketer in the world.

Michael learned that when you help others build their business, your business will grow as well. When you help others improve their lives, your life will improve. When you help a team member be better, you’ll get better.
