Gender Equity

INTRODUCTION

One of the major issues that intercollegiate athletic directors must factor into their operations is the elements that enable an institution to attain gender equity. The key issue for managers in this area is compliance. Gender equity is often accomplished by means of Title IX, the federal law that requires equal opportunity in school-related athletics.
