How to Obtain a Screenshot of Your Android Device

Part of the process of submitting to the Android Market includes taking screenshots of your app. You are allowed eight of them, and these will appear on the official entry of your application on the Android Market. You should use all eight of them if you can. Also, you should have a video ready (I discussed how to make a video in Chapter 8).

When it comes to screenshots, you do not want to use anything that isn’t pulled off the screen of the application itself. You need to show potential users precisely what they will be getting when they download your application.
