Exporting and printing

Pivots can be exported to many formats, but there are two formats that are most commonly used by analysts. Typically analysts want to export the data to Microsoft Excel for additional analysis or final formatting. To export a Pivot, access the File menu | Export | Section. The Export Section window appears with the ability to name the file and select the type of the file to create. The two main formats for exporting a Pivot to Excel are the .xls format or the .mhtml format. The .xls format creates an Excel document without the Pivot formatting applied.
