Updating the data model
As changes are made to the tables in a database, Interactive Reporting provides a simple and easy-to-use update feature to refresh the columns of the tables in the data model of a Query section. In the DataModel menu, the Sync with Database option updates the data model with the changes to each table in the data model.
Note
If at any time a column is deleted from any table and is used in the Request line of a query, Interactive Reporting will remove the column from the query if the column has not been edited or the software will display a database error noting an error running the query, if the column has been modified in the Request line.
