Chapter 11. Plutonian People

Smaller than our own moon, Pluto has an interesting history. Long before people discovered or even observed it, they saw its effects and hypothesized its presence. It is similar to a person who works behind the scenes and does not seek glory for his own sake. Pluto was named after the ancient Roman god of the underworld, which also supports the “hidden” theme. First observed in 1930, Pluto became the subject of vigorous debate in 2006 and was demoted to the status of “dwarf planet.”
