Chapter 8. Saturn Is So Different

Saturn, with its distinctive rings, is the most different looking of all of the planets. Galileo noticed its odd appearance as long ago as 1610 and was bothered by it, much as the people I am going to talk about in this chapter bother one another. The trait I will associate with the planet Saturn has to do with liking the tried-and-true in life versus always wondering what is new and exciting. In others words, some people stick to the status quo and some try something quite different, like wearing a set of prominent rings in order to stand out from the crowd.
