Where can I find a copy of the Wi-Fi standards?
IEEE standards are written by engineers for other engineers, so they don't make particularly exciting reading. However, they are the defining documents for wireless Ethernet networks, so you might want to take a look at them. They're available online at http://standards.ieee.org/reading/ieee/std/lanman.
