External Antennas

If you can establish a reliable high-speed data link to any location in your network's coverage area with the antennas built into your network adapters and the captive antennas attached to your access points, there is absolutely no reason to waste any time, money, or energy on external antennas. When you reach the maximum possible speed, better antennas won't move the data any faster.
