I’ve mentioned several times that F# is a functional language, but as you’ve learned from previous chapters you can build rich applications in F# without using any functional techniques. Does that mean that F# isn’t really a functional language? No. F# is a general-purpose, multiparadigm language that allows you to program in the style most suited to your task.
