Exercise 5.1 Try using a simple image and blending it with an image that has a uniform neutral color. You could also try creating an image with four different layers: two for the top layer and two for the background. Then try different combinations of the top and background layers.

Exercise 5.2 Take a nice sky from another photograph, one with interesting clouds. When you add the sky to the panorama, the clouds are stretched out horizontally, but clouds come in all shapes and sizes, so the result should look fine.

Exercise 5.3 Include the leaves in the selection to be cut to create the opening with the Fuzzy Select tool because the leaves contrast with the background. As you can see on the right, however, the tool doesn’t work so well ...
