The Iraqi government filmed and released an official video of Saddam Hussein’s execution, but one witness took his own cell-phone video of the entire proceedings. The video circulated on the Internet, giving a wired world the first-hand discomfort of witnessing the chaotic execution of a fallen dictator. While many were happy to see Saddam dead, some were frustrated by the expediency of the execution, because Saddam was brought to trial and found guilty for only a fraction of his many horrific crimes.
