To be competitive, public and private cloud service providers must provide cost-effective services and features that enable ease of adoption. However, because most users of a cloud, whether it is a private or a public cloud, have certain expectations regarding the security of their data, service providers also must assure customers that the service they are providing is an appropriate and secure fit for their needs.
