Beginning with Acknowledgment

You may remember that I began this book by sharing that I went many years not knowing where I belonged. Another way to say the same thing is that I didn’t yet feel as though I belonged where I was and with the people I knew. This is no longer the case. I would like to share with you the most powerful way I know that you can create belonging no matter who you are and where you’re reading this book. As I mentioned in the beginning, community is formed when people believe they have mutual concern for one another.
